The Ashtabula County Agricultural Society Board of Directors meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month for their monthly meetings. Meetings take place in the Concession Office on the fairgrounds at 7:00 pm.

Rules for Candidates & Elections
CANDIDATES: All potential candidates for Director MUST attend a minimum of two complete regular monthly meetings in the previous 12 months to be eligible to pull a petition. Qualified candidates MUST be a member of the Society to request a petition from the Secretary. The candidate must complete the petition by stating the specific board position for which he/she is seeking to be elected. The petition must be signed by 10 valid members of the Society and returned to the Secretary seven days before the annual election.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The Board of Directors of the Ashtabula County Agricultural Society shall consist of 18 members who shall be elected at large for a term of three years. Terms of one-third of the Directors shall expire annually. Not more than two Directors shall be from any one Township at any one time, except the Township in which the fair is held (Jefferson) that being not more than three.
ELECTION: The Annual Election of Directors shall be by ballot and will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Concession Building on the fairgrounds. Only members of the Society who purchased a valid 2024 membership ticket by 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, shall be entitled to vote.
