2010 ASHTABULA COUNTY FAIR ROUGH TRUCK CONTEST Wednesday -  August 11th -  7:00 p.m.                                                     Everyone pays $7.00 admission to the Fair.                                                     Contest Entry Fee $20.00                                                     Pit passes: 1 free per driver / All others $5.00                                                     (Must be at least 18 years of age to enter pit area) REGISTRATION: All vehicles must be entered between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Participants must enter the south gate to the fairgrounds. (W. Walnut St. entrance to racetrack) MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M. 2 CLASSES - STOCK & MODIFIED This is a timed event over an obstacle course-- with a jump at the end of the course. Trucks or cars are permitted. LIMIT - 75 vehicles both classes. Drivers must be at least eighteen year of age and have a valid driver’s license. Driver must show proof of ownership at the time of entry (Title or sales receipt). Only one driver per vehicle. All drivers must wear full-face helmet and a secured seat belt during competition. All drivers will be required to sign a “hold harmless” agreement and waiver of liability. No person will be allowed to compete under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and     no alcohol or drugs will be permitted on the fairgrounds. No loose items will be permitted inside of truck cab or bed. Street legal tires only. Roll bars/cages will be permitted. No major modifications will be permitted to vehicles in stock class. Examples of major     modifications: tube frames, motor relocation, driver seat relocation, etc. All vehicles must have functional brakes. All vehicles are subject to inspection by the Rough Truck Committee. The approval     of the vehicles by the Committee shall mean that the vehicle is approved for     participation in the Rough Truck Contest and shall not be construed in any way     to mean the vehicle is mechanically sound. The Rough Truck Committee and the     Agricultural Society shall not be liable or responsible for any mechanical failure,     losses, injury or death resulting from the same. Absolutely no refund of entry money for violation of any rule.
