SHEEP CLASSES: 1 - Dorset, 2 - Southdown, 3 - Shropshire, 4 - Suffolk PREMIUMS: $12.00 - $10.00 - $8.00 NO OPEN SWINE CLASS - JUNIOR FAIR MARKET HOGS ONLY
1. All space and pens will be allotted by the superintendent of sheep and swine department.
2. Note new check-in times: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2007 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2007.
Please enter fairgrounds from Poplar St. All animals must be checked by fair vet at the gate before unloading.
3. All sheep and swine must be in pens by 6 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2007, and remain until 7 p.m. the last day
of the fair.
4. 2 entries may be made in items 1 - 2 - 4 & 5.
5. All sheep must be recorded or under one year of age eligible to record.
6. Registration papers must be shown on request of judge or department superintendent.
7. No unworthy exhibits shall receive premium.
8. A Breeders Young Flock shall consist of one yearling ram, or ram lamb, and two ewe lambs and must be bred
by the owner.
9. An Exhibitors Flock shall consist of a yearling ram, or ram lamb, a yearling ewe, and a ewe lamb.
10. Pen of Lambs shall consist of 2 ewe lambs and 2 ram lambs.
11. Any exhibitor removing sheep or swine exhibits prior to 7 p.m. Sunday will not be allowed to exhibit in this
department again. Any prizes won by the exhibitor will be forfeited. Any exceptions to this rule must be made
with the permission of the department superintendent.
12. No refunds of entry fee will be made in this department without the approval of the superintendent.
13. No bedding or feed furnished.
